Description The Dirigenten, Karlavagnen, and Klasmossen Preschools are located in Karlstad and work together based on a shared pedagogical approach. We create safe and inspiring learning environments where children's curiosity and desire to learn are at the center. Here, you will work on creating inspiring and educational learning environments - both indoors and outdoors - based on children's interests, the preschool curriculum, and school law. As an educator, you are responsible for teaching in your own learning environment and documenting both instruction and children's development. We are now seeking two substitute preschool teachers from January 1st to June 30th. Job Responsibilities In your role as a preschool teacher, you will listen to children and encourage them to express their thoughts and interests. By planning activities and learning environments based on their interests, you will ensure these align with the preschool curriculum. The work follows school law and aims to provide all children with an equivalent education. An inclusive environment is created where all children feel welcome and participate in decision-making processes that affect their daily lives. In this way, you contribute to an engaging and fair learning environment for all children. In addition, your tasks will include: - Actively promoting children's language development - Collaborating with guardians to include them in children's development and make decisions in the child's best interest - Documentation, reflection, and analysis - Ensuring education and instruction are conducted according to the preschool curriculum - Engaging in your own and the organization's development by participating in training, evaluations, and other initiatives to maintain and develop the preschool As a preschool teacher, your work is characterized by clear respect for each individual and good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. Your working hours will vary, which means you are expected to be able to open and close the preschool. Qualifications We are seeking a licensed preschool teacher, or someone who is in the process of obtaining their license.
