We work with the children through slow processes with shared literature and a well-structured calendar to support development and reflection. Job Responsibilities As a preschool teacher, you play a crucial role in children's development and well-being. You will have a multifaceted role and work closely with childcare workers and other staff at the preschool to create a safe, stimulating, and accessible education for the children. Your main responsibilities include: • Ensuring that goal-oriented processes take place and conducting teaching together with childcare workers, where children's participation and influence are central. • Ensuring that teaching in the preschool is conducted in accordance with the goals of the curriculum. • Planning, implementing, and developing teaching collaboratively within the work team and for the entire preschool. • Ensuring that the preschool's learning environments offer variety where children can further develop their abilities in an accessible learning environment for care, play, movement, health, development, and learning. You will work to create safe and trusting relationships with both children, colleagues, and guardians. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a qualified and licensed preschool teacher with the authority to teach in preschool and have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written forms. It is an advantage if you have professional experience from working in preschool as well as knowledge of any of our minority languages or another language. As a person, you need to be structured and able to plan, organize, and complete your work. To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have the ability to meet the diverse needs of children, create good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues, and that you value collaboration and strive for shared success. Your creative ability to think outside the box when needed is also important. Employment Type: Temporary position from January 26, 2025, to June 30, 2026.
