Additionally, you will participate in a structured, shared value-based work within the administration, and you will work in a suitably sized municipality where you are involved in decision-making.
Fäbogården and Smultronbacken preschools are part of the Western preschool area and are located in the Vallhov district. The preschools accommodate 76 children aged 1-5 years, divided into four departments. The preschools work thematically, and currently, they are discovering and exploring a children's book together with the children. In Sandviken's preschools, we work with AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication), incorporating it naturally into the communication between children and educators.
The preschool collaborates with a special educator and a quality coordinator. We offer you a position in an organization where work teams are trusted to work independently towards set goals, and you will have close collaboration with the deputy principal with short decision-making paths.

In daily work, pedagogical documentation and reflection are natural elements to systematically ensure the quality of education. You will base your work on the children's interests, curiosity, and initiatives, translating that into goal-oriented processes where the children take the lead.

Children's influence and participation play a central role in your work, meaning that you, together with the children and colleagues, plan, reflect, and analyze learning processes, working methods, and approaches. You are committed to making education enjoyable and safe while challenging the capable children in their learning.

You contribute to a positive working environment in the preschool, and together with experienced preschool teachers and childcare workers, you will be responsible for ensuring that the children have a fun, safe, and educational time at preschool. We believe that the way we interact with children, guardians, and colleagues is important, and we continuously work with our values to maintain a good working climate.

QUALIFICATIONS
Does this sound interesting to you? We are looking for someone who recognizes themselves in the following description:
• You have a preschool teacher degree and preschool teacher certification. If you are newly graduated, we will plan an introductory period for you.
• You are confident in your leadership with both children and colleagues, creating accessible learning environments with a focus on clear pedagogical strategies.
• You have the ability to cater to each child's needs and circumstances.
• You are interested in actively participating in the children's play and discovery.
• You are flexible, positive, and highly engaged.
• You have a positive attitude when interacting with people.
• You are resourceful yet humble as a person.
• You find it easy to collaborate with children, colleagues, and guardians.
• You are well-acquainted with the preschool's governing documents and have good knowledge of pedagogical documentation, using computers and tablets as pedagogical tools in daily work.
Preferred qualifications include:
• Experience working with younger children
• Experience with AAC and GAKK
• Experience with children in need of special support
• Special educational knowledge
Good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. Personal suitability and your experience will be given significant weight.
