JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for you who want to work as a preschool teacher with us in Boden Municipality. You should be prepared to work with children aged 1-6 years, during the hours the preschool is open, and, if necessary, work a week at the summer preschool and occasionally participate in professional development in the evenings. You are well-versed in the preschool curriculum and work to achieve increased goal fulfillment in an engaged and positive manner. Your work includes planning, executing, following up, and analyzing teaching, as well as engaging in systematic quality work. You will follow the routines and guidelines established at the preschool and in the municipality. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for creating a safe and pedagogically enriching environment for all children and have the overarching responsibility to ensure compliance with the curriculum guidelines. You are responsible for adapting content, methods, and interactions based on each child's individual circumstances. You build good relationships and plan, implement, and evaluate the educational work with the children in focus. You will collaborate closely with colleagues both within your team and across the entire preschool, as well as with guardians and other partners. Together with your colleagues, you create conditions for children's learning and development in a safe, fun, and educational environment that embodies the preschool's values, norms, and principles. In your work, you will have access to digital tools used in pedagogical documentation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher with experience working in a group of children. We also welcome applications from those who are currently studying to become preschool teachers and will soon complete their education. You are cooperative, take initiative, and are solution-oriented. It is important that you see the whole picture and work together with colleagues towards set goals. You should view each child based on their individual needs. Collaboration with colleagues, the principal, the deputy principal, and the preschool coordinator is a significant part of the job. You should be flexible and confident in your professional role. You have experience working with digital tools, which are used in systematic quality work. Experience with tools such as TRAS, MIO, and Low-Arousal Approach is an advantage. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
