We are currently seeking an experienced preschool teacher for Gamla Uppsala Preschool, part of the Kidz Education group. The preschool is located close to nature with several excursion destinations, such as forests and various playgrounds, as well as convenient bus connections.

As a preschool teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the education. You will ensure that the children develop according to their needs and circumstances. You will be responsible for the pedagogical documentation, conduct development discussions, and work towards the preschool's common goals to ensure they are achieved. Your role includes leading your team of childcare workers, where you are expected to delegate and guide your colleagues, and you should also serve as a good role model for both children and colleagues.
You need to collaborate effectively with other preschool teachers and childcare workers and be responsible for developing pedagogical content and learning environments that inspire development and learning, challenging and stimulating the children's interests and curiosity. The preschool employs a process-oriented approach, where we work together with the children on various projects throughout the educational year. You will be part of the preschool's management team alongside the principal/deputy principal and other preschool teachers.
We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher who is driven to advance the preschool's development. You should have good collaboration skills, be flexible, proactive, and act professionally in all situations. You are positive, engaged, and well aware of goals and guidelines, as well as possessing strong leadership abilities. Since we work with language development and pedagogical documentation, your Swedish must be proficient both orally and in writing. You should also have high digital competence.
