Description of the Preschool
Preschool Nallarna is located in a residential area in Gunnilse, close to wonderful outdoor environments, about 20 minutes by X3 from the center of Gothenburg. The preschool is a parent cooperative run by dedicated educators together with a principal and the association's board.
The preschool has 40 enrolled children divided into two departments and a kitchen. Currently, the preschool employs a principal, two preschool teachers, six preschool assistants, and a cook. Our prioritized goals during the budgeting process are to maintain small child groups balanced with high staff density. When regular staff are ill, it is prioritized to hire substitutes to maintain planned activities according to financial conditions and needs.
Your tasks will include, together with the rest of the team, ensuring that children's education is conducted in accordance with the preschool's curriculum. Participate in a work team, plan, implement, develop, and evaluate the work in accordance with applicable governing documents - actively contribute to creating a safe and educational environment - together with the children, ensure that curiosity and learning are at the center. Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a qualified preschool assistant. Personal competence will be prioritized as well as language ability.
You should be a driven and curious educator who loves working with children, is interested in new research and new methods, and sees opportunities instead of obstacles. You are expected to carry out systematic quality work in your department together with your team based on the preschool's curriculum. At Nallarna, we document children's learning on the Tyra platform, so good iPad skills are necessary. Great emphasis is placed on personality and fluency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Salary
Monthly salary according to agreement. The preschool has a collective agreement with Fremia.
Duration of Employment
Probationary period/indefinite employment; we apply a probationary period of 6 months.
Working Hours
100%, according to schedule, daytime, and 1 evening planning session per month. The preschool's opening hours are 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Start Date
January 2026 or as agreed.
