Congregation Educator at Bunkeflo Strandkyrka, Limhamn Parish Welcome to apply for the position of Congregation Educator at Bunkeflo Strandkyrka! You will be part of a team consisting of both employed and volunteer staff. Together, we strive to be a parish that is relevant to people of all ages and life situations. Families with children and young people make up a significant part of our network. We aim to make Sunday's main service a place where people from various weekly activities come together. Position Description: We are seeking a Congregation Educator in Limhamn Parish, located in Bunkeflostrand, with a focus on children, families, school, and Sunday school activities. You will work with various groups, including daytime open meetings for children & parents, school contacts, and Sunday school every other Sunday. Other activities may also be included, both on weekends and weekdays. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with appropriate pedagogical education and experience. You are well-grounded in church faith and life. You are familiar with the Bible, a seasoned prayer leader, and enjoy leading devotionals. You can play piano or guitar independently and can lead a children's group or baby rhythmic group in singing. You enjoy teamwork and collaborating with volunteer staff. As a person, you are flexible, take initiative easily, collaborate well with others, and can build relationships. You are self-assured and inspiring. Job Responsibilities: • Plan, implement, and develop activities for children, youth, and adults, such as children's groups, confirmation classes, and youth programs. • Participate in and lead gatherings, school visits, camps, and themed days in collaboration with schools and other community actors, including municipalities, youth centers, other churches, and interfaith representatives. • Manage school contacts and school programs. Qualifications: • Completed education as a Congregation Educator, pedagogy within the Church of Sweden, or other relevant education with church affiliation. • Experience working with children, youth, or adults in parish or educational contexts. • Strong ability to create relationships and provide a sense of security for participants of all ages. • Empathetic, attentive, and flexible to different needs and perspectives. • Creative, proactive, and experienced in working both independently and collaboratively. • Basic digital competence.
