Focus of Your Role
In this role, you have overall responsibility for sales. You set goals and strategies in consultation with the site manager, lead the sales team, and ensure that our forecasts, agreements, and processes maintain high quality.
As Sales Manager, your focus is to continue developing, maintaining, and creating long-term relationships with our customers. This is where the emphasis of the role lies – building trust with our customers, which you do best through your technical understanding and ability to build good relationships.
Just as important as your technical competence will be your business acumen. You will engage with both large and small customers, review drawing documentation, and develop an understanding of the overall context of each business opportunity to assess the documentation. We aim to be a close partner where we grow together – a mutual trust, where we assist the customer from the first drawing to the finished product.
The role is both operational and strategic – you develop customer relationships, analyze inquiries, technical solutions, and quotes, and are responsible for ensuring we follow up on the business all the way. The role also involves personnel responsibility, budget responsibility, and close collaboration with the rest of the organization. You report to the site manager and are part of the management team.
If We Could Wish
We don’t know who you are – yet, but we have a good idea of what you bring with you from previous experiences:
• A technical university education or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• A business-oriented approach and technical competence.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Basic knowledge of economics.
• Familiarity with MPS systems and a good understanding of ISO 9001 and 14001.
Is This the Right Place for You?
You enjoy taking responsibility and thrive in a role where a lot is happening. You are proactive, structured, solution-focused, and have an easy time building trust – both internally and externally. With us, you will lead, influence, and develop, together with an engaged team.
To succeed as a Sales Manager, we see that you have a great deal of energy, curiosity, and a desire to contribute ideas to the business. You have a strategic interest and are driven to develop both the business and the people around you.
You are a clear leader who leads through others – you see the individual, coach, and create the right conditions for the team to grow. You are confident in yourself, communicative, and enjoy engaging in dialogue with people. Change does not intimidate you – on the contrary, you want to be part of an organization that is on its next growth journey.
Does our description fit you? We warmly welcome your application!
