About this role

Againity has developed a solution using their proprietary ORC turbines to utilize waste heat for local production of sustainable, weather-independent, and cost-effective electricity. Currently, our sales team consists of six dedicated sales professionals and process engineers working closely together to achieve our vision of a more energy-efficient world. With constantly growing demand from increasingly more market segments, Againity is now seeking someone to lead market development in the waste heat segment from large power plants to replace fossil fuel electricity worldwide. ABOUT AGAINITY: Againity AB was founded in 2013 and has since grown from a startup to an established and rapidly expanding company with a strong and familial organizational culture. We are leaders in manufacturing ORC turbines that convert waste heat into climate-smart electricity. Our innovative work has resulted in the Gasell Award as the fastest-growing company in Östergötland. With a constantly expanding product portfolio, including new battery storage solutions, we continue to expand and are now seeking more committed employees for our team in Norrköping. Currently, our sales team consists of six dedicated sales professionals and process engineers working closely together to achieve our goals. ABOUT THE ROLE: As Sales Manager for the waste heat market segment from power plants, you will have a key position responsible for developing a relatively new market with enormous economic and environmental potential. The role involves establishing new sales channels alongside direct contact with prospects owning power plants, such as diesel engines and power plants worldwide. You will establish new sales channels via sales partners and work with direct outreach sales through site visits, phone, email, and video meetings, and participate in conferences and trade shows to the extent deemed value-creating. Travel is therefore a natural part of the position, and we are seeking someone who enjoys being in the field and meeting new people, even though the work is based at the office in Norrköping. You will report to the Sales Manager. YOUR PROFILE: We are seeking someone with a sharp business sense, passionate about creating customer relationships in the industry, and thriving in a developing role with significant impact on business development. You gain energy from driving your own work forward and grow when taking responsibility. You enjoy working independently and have a natural ability to create momentum and development. It is advantageous if you have experience in technical sales within heat or power production, gas turbines, diesel generators, or steam turbines. We prefer candidates who have worked with sales to larger organizations and companies in the industry and have experience in project sales. The role involves responsibility for independently developing and driving the market segment, which is expected to become a significant and strategically important part of the business in the long term. Previous business area responsibility is therefore considered meritorious.
