Investigations, analyses, and customer contact As a claims investigator, you will be a state employee tasked with ensuring that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. When working with care allowances, you will communicate with parents who have children in need of special care and supervision due to illness or disability. In your work with additional cost compensation, you will interact with individuals who may need assistance with extra costs for daily living due to a disability. In your role, you will make assessments through qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, primarily medical statements. You will then present proposals for decisions to designated decision-makers. Contact with individuals will occur via phone and in writing. You will gather information and collaborate with, among others, healthcare providers and municipalities. As a claims investigator, you will handle confidential information, which requires a high level of security awareness. Therefore, it is important that you possess a strong sense of security if you are to work with us. This is a job for those who want to take responsibility. We are looking for someone who: • has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications • is confident and trustworthy, even in challenging situations • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results • has a systematic and meticulous approach to work • can understand and analyze complex issues • has strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing • is proficient in using a computer as a work tool. It is advantageous if you: • have experience working towards set goals with good results • have a solid understanding of how to professionally engage with people in various life situations. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Additional Information A number of positions are available, permanent, full-time, with start dates according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted as part of this recruitment process.
