The team has shared production goals that you plan and follow up on together, but you also have individual goals. Of the 300 people working with Insurance Affiliation, approximately 40 are located in Karlstad. Investigations, Analyses, and Teamwork As an insurance investigator, you have an important mission: to help citizens ensure the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. You provide the conditions for overview and security in all contacts with Försäkringskassan. Contact occurs via phone and in writing. In your work, you conduct qualified investigations and subsequently make decisions. Each individual has a unique situation that needs to be addressed according to their specific needs. As an Insurance Investigator, you handle confidential information, which requires high standards of proper handling. Therefore, it is important that those who work with us have a high level of security awareness. When working with insurance affiliation, you will interact with citizens from around the world who have come to Sweden to settle or work. You investigate and decide whether individuals meet the conditions for being socially insured in Sweden. Your investigations and assessments can therefore have significant economic implications for the individual. You apply EU legislation, convention provisions, and national legislation. In your work, you will contact other Swedish authorities, such as the Swedish Tax Agency and the Migration Agency, as well as foreign authorities. As you handle large volumes of official documents and communicate with many people, you need to be able to speak and write Swedish fluently. We prefer candidates who are positive, unpretentious, and confident. We also value engagement in your assignment, the ability to see the big picture, and flexibility. We are looking for someone who: • Has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be considered equivalent • Is stable and trustworthy • Acts on own initiative and takes responsibility for high-quality results • Has a systematic and thorough work approach • Can understand and analyze complex issues • Has good communication skills • Collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals • Has good knowledge of English and Swedish • Is computer-literate It is meritorious if you: • Have worked with qualified investigations and made decisions affecting individuals, preferably at a government agency • Have knowledge of an additional language besides Swedish and English We place great importance on your personal characteristics.
