The Cadastral Surveying Unit is part of the Community Development Administration.
We are not just the municipal cadastral authority (KLM), but also include the municipality's mapping/GIS operations and surveying expertise. We are currently 20 fantastic individuals looking for one more colleague!
Work Tasks
As a Cadastral Surveyor, you will work independently and in a team with other surveyors, cadastral engineers, and cadastral administrators, handling cadastral proceedings and making official decisions. You will process all types of cadastral proceedings, both in urban and rural areas. Your competence, experience, and interest will determine which cases you handle now and in the future. If you are an experienced Cadastral Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to handle complex and more comprehensive cases such as facility, pipeline, and 3D proceedings.
We play a key role in the community development process, and as a municipal Cadastral Surveyor, you will contribute to various parts of this, including expertise in implementation issues during the detailed planning process. Work tasks also include property legal advice and service both within the municipality and to the public.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a civil engineering or technical degree in cadastral surveying, a lawyer with property law expertise, or equivalent education/experience that we deem comparable.
We place great importance on personal qualities as the work involves many contacts both internally and externally with stakeholders and the public, and the tasks require the ability to make decisions of varying complexity.
A valid driver's license, category B, is required.
It is meritorious if:
• You have worked with property formation for a few years
• You have in-depth knowledge of property law
• You have experience with implementation issues during the detailed planning process
• You have experience with independent decision-making
You should have great commitment, be service-oriented, and have a positive attitude.
You are quality-conscious, able to make decisions, and can handle conflicting interests objectively and in a trustworthy manner.
