On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Store Technician for a combined heat and power plant in Stockholm. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on December 15, 2025, and continue until December 31, 2026.
About the assignment
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a well-functioning flow of materials and spare parts within the organization. The work includes several practical and administrative aspects, making you a central link between suppliers, internal purchasers, and the warehouse.
Examples of tasks
• Receipt of goods
• Operating a forklift during loading and unloading
• Delivery and distribution of spare parts and materials
• Conducting purchases of spare parts and materials
• Contact with suppliers
• Requesting quotes
• Ongoing inventory of stock and supplies
• Managing balances in the client's maintenance system IFS

• Cost and delivery condition optimization
• Building and developing supplier relationships and negotiation strategies
• Ensuring supplier quality and risk assessment
• Inventory management and material supply that supports the organization's needs
• Sustainability-focused assessment when selecting suppliers and materials
• Continuous market analysis to identify savings opportunities
• Compliance with internal guidelines and policies related to purchasing and supplier management

About you
We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements:
• Forklift license A and B
• B driver's license or AM qualification is required
• Good computer skills as you will be working daily in the maintenance system IFS.
• Experience in strategic and operational purchasing
• Experience in supplier negotiations
• Experience negotiating with international suppliers
• Experience leading and driving purchasing projects from start to completion
• Experience in purchasing within production or industrial operations
• Knowledge of inventory optimization and demand planning
• Knowledge of cost-saving initiatives and supplier development
