About this role

We are now looking for a warehouse employee for our Service Point in Kosta and hope you will apply to join us as our new colleague. About the Unit The Supply Department is part of the Logistics Unit, which plans, prepares, implements, and follows up on all material supply and technical services for all units within the Garrison. The Supply Department consists of three sections: Service, Operational Organization, and Goods/Transport, aimed at contributing to a stronger and more redundant defense force through well-functioning peace logistics and unit-close storage and supply for readiness increases and war. The department currently comprises about 65 people of mixed ages, skills, and backgrounds. About the Section The section currently consists of about 24 employees. Daily tasks at the section include servicing units within the Karlskrona garrison with personal equipment, clothing, laundry changes, weapons, ammunition, requisitions, etc. This also includes some transportation of materials. Main Responsibilities The overarching work involves working with supply management. Primarily, you will handle the issuance/receipt of materials to our customers, as well as other tasks related to storage management within the Supply Department. We supply both our own unit and other units, which means you will have contact with both internal and external customers. Much of our daily work revolves around ensuring that our core activity, supply management, functions effectively. To manage this, we use system support in the SAP environment as well as the Armed Forces' own system support, including LIFT. There may also be work during evenings and weekends. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications • Three-year high school education or equivalent knowledge assessed by the employer as comparable • Previous experience in storage management/warehouse/logistics supply • Good computer skills • Driving license category B Personal Attributes Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You need to have good collaboration skills, strong social abilities with a high sense of service, be flexible, solution-oriented, meticulous, and able to work both in a team and independently. DESIRABLE • Forklift license • Previous experience as GSS (group leader, soldier, sailor) • Driving license categories C, BE, CE • Military driving license C • ADR training • Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' material processes • Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' accounting systems SAP/PRIO Other Employment type: Permanent position, with a 6-month probationary period, civilian position.
