Warehouse Staff for Goods and Fuel Section, Sollefteå, Västernorrland Regiment The Swedish Armed Forces is seeking three new employees to strengthen our goods section in Sollefteå. We offer you a varied position with the opportunity to create a balance between work and leisure in exchange for your commitment and willingness to develop. The Västernorrland Regiment, along with the Jämtland Field Ranger Corps, I 21, was reestablished in 2022. The unit operates in three locations: Sollefteå, Östersund, and Härnösand, responsible for training and maintaining two independent infantry battalions as well as the Military Base Sollefteå. We will provide you with opportunities to grow through exciting tasks and under temporary conditions. You will become part of the army and are expected, during your initial period at the regiment, to be able to work at other locations (e.g., in Härnösand or Östersund, and potentially other sites), but your primary workplace will be Sollefteå. The Supply Department, FörsA Sollefteå, is tasked with providing supplies and transportation that the units need to carry out their operations. FörsA Sollefteå consists of approximately 25 employees based in Sollefteå, Östersund, and Härnösand. We are part of the Logistics Unit at I 21. Main Responsibilities As a warehouse staff member, you will have a diverse role responsible for providing supplies and transportation to the units. This includes the issuance and return of personal equipment, group materials, weapons, and ammunition. You will handle incoming and outgoing goods, inventory management, and, not least, administration and record maintenance in our support systems. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is meticulous, has strong social skills, and a good sense of service. You should be quick to learn new computer systems, as the work is partially administratively intensive. You should be comfortable reaching out to people and able to express yourself well in both spoken and written communication. You can work independently as well as in a team and are loyal, flexible, and organized as a person. Personal suitability will be given significant weight.
