About this role
We are looking for a person who is ready to take on the responsibility of being the manager of one of our operations. You will have personnel responsibility, quality responsibility, and budget responsibility. We also prefer that you have a background working closely with the target group, as part of the role involves client-facing work. The staff working in the supported housing will be based at our office in Eskilstuna, which will also be your primary workplace.
About Gläntan Young Adults

More information can be found on our website www.glantauv.se
About the Operation
We have IVO's permission to operate Supported Housing for the age group 16–21 years, and we also provide supported housing services for older individuals. In the supported housing service, the need for support in various areas of life is identified, and together with the individual, a plan is developed for how the support will be implemented. The support is followed up in collaboration with the referring social services. The support may include:
• Motivational and security-building conversations
• ADL assessments
• Educational support in daily living
• Community information
• Assistance in contacts with authorities and other community organizations
• Help to maintain and, if necessary, establish social relationships
• Activities that can contribute to a meaningful leisure time
• Regular supervision in the individual's own residence
The main tasks of the staff include providing support in the form of planning, client-facing work, training in daily activities, treatment, conversations, coordination, collaboration, and documentation. We work with evidence-based methods and adapt materials, support, and activities based on our clients' individual circumstances.
About the Position
Your responsibility will be to lead and motivate the staff, as well as to operate the business in accordance with existing legislation. There is a high demand for supported housing in apartments, which means that as the manager, you will respond to placement inquiries, conduct risk and suitability assessments, hold intake conversations, and plan for admissions and transitions. It is important that you are service-minded and can create good collaboration with clients and other partners.
We hope you work with passion and can focus on both soft values and "hard" values. We want you to have analytical skills and the ability to create structure while also having the courage and drive to develop the operation according to existing needs.
It is highly advantageous if you are creative and have an eye for interior design, as our apartments should feel like homes. We need to find better ways for internal collaboration and reduce information loss. Therefore, we need a person who can create a sense of community while also challenging old working methods and implementing new forms of collaboration.
You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You ensure that tasks are completed on time and follow up on results. You work well with others by listening, showing interest, and maintaining a respectful approach. You understand the common mission and work towards making it as successful as possible.
About You
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another higher education that the employer deems equivalent. It is also required that the education meets IVO's requirements for managers of supported housing. You should be well-versed in the legislation regarding services under the Social Services Act (SoL). You need to have knowledge of and previous work experience with children and young people in service delivery. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position. Experience as a manager or in another leadership role is considered an advantage.
You need to be a secure and balanced person who can focus on the well-being of both employees and clients. As a person, you are curious, solution-focused, creative, organized, and responsible. It is advantageous if you have previously worked with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, addiction, and mental health issues. We see that the need to adapt working methods to individual circumstances has increased, and therefore we hope you have experience or interest in pedagogy, learning, and individualized support.
To apply for the position:
• Degree in social work, behavioral science, or equivalent education that meets IVO's requirements for managers
• Experience working as a manager or in a leadership position previously
• Education in labor law and workplace environment
• Experience in service delivery with individuals aged 16-30 years
• It is advantageous if you have trained and worked with methods such as 12-step treatment, MI, KSL, TMO, ASI, ÅP, ESL, for example
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Good IT skills as documentation is extensive
• B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles
