We Are Seeking an Engaged and Proactive Social Sustainability Strategist Who Wants to Drive Development Towards an Even More Inclusive, Equal and Sustainable Society! WORK TASKS Do You Want to Help Shape an Ängelholm Where Everyone Has the Opportunity to Feel Well, Influence and Participate? As a Social Sustainability Strategist, You Are a Key Person in the Municipality's Sustainability Work. You Work Both Strategically and Practically with Issues that Strengthen Social Cohesion, Participation and Rights for People of All Ages and Parts of the Municipality. You Drive Development, Collaboration and Dialogue in Several Important Areas: • Civil Society and Associations - You Develop Forms of Collaboration Between the Municipality and Civil Society, Lead Work on Public Partnerships with Civil Society Organizations (IOP), Coordinate Networks and Manage the Collaboration Forum. • Children's Rights and Youth Influence - You Strengthen Children's and Young People's Rights, Follow Up Work on the Convention on the Rights of the Child and Lead the Network for Children's Rights Strategists. You Are Also Driving the Work with Youth Council, Responsible for Planning, Follow-up and Activities. • Citizens' Dialogue and Participation - You Contribute to Developing the Municipality's Ways of Meeting, Listening to and Collaborating with Residents in Various Issues from Rural to Urban Areas. In the Role, You Are Both a Project Manager and an Expert. Your Projects and Assignments are Municipality-Wide and Connected to All Municipal Operations. You Work Closely with Colleagues in the Sustainability Unit, Collaborate with Strategists in Other Areas and Have a Central Role in Communicating and Developing Ängelholm's Work on Social Sustainability. QUALIFICATIONS We Are Seeking Someone with a Higher Education in Social Sciences and Experience of Strategic Work in Social Sustainability Focusing on Collaboration with Civil Society, Youth Influence or Related Areas. Experience from Municipal Operations is Meritorious, as is Being Trained as a Children's Rights Strategist or Having Good Experience in Children's Rights Work. You Have a Good Understanding of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and Young People's Right to Influence, and a Genuine Commitment to Strengthening Young People's Participation in Social Development. You Are Accustomed to Leading Projects and Processes, and Can Translate Ideas into Concrete Structures and Activities. As a Person, You Are Analytical, Communicative and Attentive, and Have an Ease of Expression both Verbally and in Writing. You Have an Inclusive Approach and Enjoy Collaborating with Various Actors from Politicians and Officials to Associations and Young People. You Are Professional in Your Contacts and Easily Create Trusting Relationships. We Place Great Importance on Personal Suitability.
