About this role

SERVICE MANAGER GROUND The Norrbotten Air Wing is now seeking a service manager for ground equipment for one of the aircraft maintenance companies. Main responsibilities include creating an overall picture of the technical status and maintenance condition of equipment within the Aircraft Maintenance Company. You will support the company management and the personnel responsible for the maintenance and oversight of the company’s vehicles, machinery, and tools. You will be part of a team of approximately 60 people. The position may involve training as well as work at other locations, both within and outside the country. A computer will be a valuable tool in your daily duties, allowing you to monitor the status of the equipment through various systems. About the unit: The Aircraft Maintenance Unit is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on our Gripen aircraft, as well as all maintenance equipment associated with the aircraft. The unit, together with the companies, also manages the daily operations of the flight system, including readiness and preparation. Our tasks are primarily directed nationally, but international assignments may also occur. The Aircraft Maintenance Unit consists of a unit management team, the 31st and 32nd Aircraft Maintenance Companies, and the aircraft workshop in Luleå. Each aircraft maintenance company is divided into a company management team and three platoons. Qualifications: - Specialist officer training or comparable civil technical education. - Class B driver's license. Meritorious: - Education and experience in logistics. - Experience with computer systems PRIO, FENIX, and LIFT. - Driver's license B/BE, C/CE, wheel loader, motorized equipment. Personal qualities: You are meticulous and unpretentious, which also means you are a good team player. You are flexible and can handle temporary peaks in workload without losing focus. You are accustomed to working both independently and as part of a team. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills.
