About Ågrenska Ågrenska is a unique, developing meeting place and a national competence center. We conduct various activities from a holistic perspective for children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities, their relatives, and professionals. Ågrenska is owned by the Ågrenska Foundation, which is a non-profit organization. As a child and youth assistant at Ågrenska, you are covered by a collective agreement. Read more at www.agrenska.se Who will you be working with? At Ågrenska, you will work with the children and adolescents who come here for short-term camps during weekends and school breaks. We also have short-term activities on weekdays for children and adolescents who come to Ågrenska after school. Many of our participants have autism, and we are now looking for staff who want to work evenings on weekdays. We are also seeking staff who are available to work all hours during weekends with this target group. Scope of the position We prefer that those who work in our short-term activities commit to at least one year to ensure important continuity in our groups. The employment is hourly-based, and we hope you will follow our participants who attend our activities regularly, both on weekdays and weekends. Who are you as an applicant? We are looking for someone who is responsible, proactive, creative, engaged, and enjoys meeting people. You have experience working with individuals with challenging behavior, utilize low-arousal approaches, and have knowledge of visual support and alternative communication. You hold a driver's license for a manual vehicle. Education or ongoing education as a support assistant, leisure educator, activation pedagogue, or leisure leader is an advantage. We particularly welcome male applicants. You must be at least 18 years old to work in our short-term activities. We also require you to provide a criminal record extract.
