Part-Time Driver Job at Dagab - Bålsta

About Dagab: Dagab is part of Axfood, Sweden's second-largest player in the grocery trade with brands such as Willys, Hemköp, Tempo, and Axfood Snabbgross. Every week, Dagab delivers thousands of orders directly to end customers – with a focus on high quality and deliveries that meet both current and future requirements. You will start and end your workday at Dagab's new warehouse in Bålsta. When delivering to customers, you will drive in the Stockholm area, where routes and delivery addresses may vary from day to day. Please note that you need to be able to get to and from the workplace in Bålsta on your own, as the warehouse is located quite far from central Stockholm and public transportation may be limited depending on work hours. About the Position: As a driver, your main task is to deliver pre-packed grocery bags to Willys and Hemköp customers in and around Stockholm. You will drive a light truck (B driver's license) and use GPS. The work is physical – heavy lifting and stair climbing are common – which requires good endurance. While working independently and being the company's external face, you are also responsible for a positive customer experience. Working hours vary with opportunities to work morning, day, and evening shifts. This is a needs-based employment. You provide your availability week by week and are booked day by day. This setup is suitable to combine with studies, a part-time job, or running your own business. We expect you to work around 2-3 weekdays per week. The position starts with a daytime training, 4 days during one week, Tuesday - Friday. Before this, you must also have completed and passed a driving test at Dagab. Start of the position is immediate. Requirements: • To be employed and remain in this position, you must have a primary occupation of at least 50% on the side. • B driver's license for manual transmission. • Since workplace introduction, safety rules, safety briefings, and other instructions will be in Swedish, you need to be proficient in the Swedish language. Personal Characteristics/Qualifications: To thrive in the driver role, you should: • Be comfortable working at a high pace and have the ability to combine efficiency with accuracy. This is required as you are responsible for delivering orders on time and to the right customer. • Have a safety mindset when operating the vehicle. • Enjoy physical work and have good physical fitness as the job involves heavy lifting and lots of stair climbing. • Be service-minded and ensure the customer gets a good impression during the brief moment of order handover. Since work shifts can span large parts of the day, we are looking for someone with a flexible daily life – for example, studying remotely or running your own business – and in need of a stable additional income. We prefer that you intend to combine this extra job with your primary occupation for an extended period. Weight will also be given to your other personal characteristics.
