AB OmsorgsCompagniet in the Nordics has been operating since 2003 and is an established care services provider. We offer personal assistance, respite care, accompaniment, housing support, and LSS housing in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Örebro, and Trollhättan.
We are currently seeking someone with experience working with children with autism. The client is an active boy who enjoys playing, gaming, cooking, and baking.
You will play a crucial role in providing temporary care, allowing caregivers to pursue their own interests. The position is for 6 hours per month, divided into two sessions.
Responsibilities:
• Play and interact
• Provide care and supervision at home or in the local area
• Enable caregiver respite and provide opportunities for personal activities or rest
Qualifications:
• Interest in working with people and creating meaningful experiences
• Knowledge of low-arousal approach
• Experience working with children with autism
• Responsibility, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to others' needs and routines
• Positive approach and ability to create a safe and loving environment
• Personal suitability and ability to collaborate with both the client and family members
