About this role

About the Assignment We are seeking an experienced Expert in Electrical Power Systems for an assignment focusing on coordination and development within the voltage domain (alternating current). The role involves being the cohesive force for deliveries within the area, ensuring technical quality, and driving work on strategies, requirements, and follow-up of voltage-related issues in the power system. The assignment includes collaboration with both internal and external parties to ensure that requirements for connecting actors are defined, implemented, and followed up in accordance with applicable standards and system responsibilities. About the Role As the area responsible, you will lead and coordinate cross-functional work within the voltage domain. You will drive improvement efforts, develop technical solutions, and participate in both national and international collaborations in power systems and grid-related issues. A crucial part of the assignment is to coordinate work on new agreements between system operators and distribution network companies regarding voltage and reactive power, as well as ensuring that long-term strategies and goals within the technical area remain current. The role requires both technical expertise and strong ability to lead, communicate, and create structure in complex contexts. Responsibilities • Coordinate and drive work within the voltage domain. • Lead cross-functional teams and be the presenter in steering and management groups. • Ensure that strategies, goals, and activities within the area are followed up and developed. • Responsible for development and follow-up of agreements with connecting actors. • Develop and drive collaborations with external and internal parties in the electrical power area. • Participate in Nordic and European expert groups as well as relevant projects and initiatives. • Initiate and follow up key performance indicators and take actions on deviations. Qualifications – Must Requirements • Master's degree in electrical power engineering or equivalent education/experience. • At least 2 years of experience in a leading or coordinating role (e.g., project manager) within the last 5 years. • At least 5 years of experience with system-related issues in power grids, power production, transmission, or distribution. • At least 3 years of experience working with voltage domain and reactive power, including voltage stability in different time perspectives. • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Meritorious • Experience in system or network planning, or operation of regional or transmission networks. • Experience leading or coordinating complex technical work. • Experience with improvement or development work within a technical area. Additional Information • Location: Stockholm or Gothenburg (travels to Stockholm approx. 2 times/month if located in Gothenburg). • Remote Work: Possible up to 50%. • Security Clearance: Required for the assignment. • Travel: May occur both within and outside Sweden. • Start Date: December 15, 2025 • End Date: January 15, 2027 Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and the assignment may be filled before the final application deadline.
