If so, this job is for you! **Introduction** Borås District Court employs around fifty staff members, including judges, clerks, legal advisors, court administrators, and security officers. The court handles criminal cases, civil disputes, court matters, and bankruptcies. The jurisdiction includes the municipalities of Bollebygd, Borås, Mark, Svenljunga, Tranemo, and Ulricehamn. There is an administrative unit at the court led by the Chief Administrator and the Head of Case Management. **Job Responsibilities** The court security officers with security guard authorization are responsible for providing excellent external and internal service as well as maintaining order and security within the court's premises. The duties of a court security officer include staffing security checks, serving in the court's public areas, and managing alarms, access control systems, and technology in the courtrooms. A significant portion of the work will also involve administrative tasks, such as staffing the reception, handling mail, releasing public documents, purchasing, servicing computers and other technology, and local supervision. The tasks are highly varied and independent, and you will perform them under your own responsibility alongside the other court security officers. Some overtime work will be required, as hearings may occasionally extend beyond regular working hours. In your daily work, you will have both internal and external contacts, including with authorities, lay judges, parties, representatives, as well as media and the public. **We Are Looking For You Who** We are looking for candidates with at least a high school education. Security guard training or other education/experience deemed equivalent is required, along with well-documented experience working as a security officer or in a similar role, combined with very high IT and technical competence. Since the court has a fixed security check, authorization to serve in security checks at the court is an advantage. Additional training in a relevant field may be considered beneficial, as well as previous experience in similar work in a court. The tasks require a high ability to interact positively with people in various situations. You possess great patience and an excellent ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. It is also very important that you have a flexible approach, high stress tolerance, and a pronounced sense of service, along with an interest in administrative tasks.
