We are now seeking three (3) experienced Lawyers for a consulting assignment at a government agency.

Some possibility of remote work after agreement with the hiring manager.
About the Position
Within the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, there is a department called Joint Insurance Matters (GF).
At GF, we handle case types and develop functions and services that are common and fundamental to all insurance benefits. We have comprehensive expertise in specific case types and drive service development. This creates value for individuals, the state, and the Social Insurance Agency through uniform and legally secure handling and efficient use of agency resources. The business areas within GF include Insurance Affiliation and Customer Interaction, Control, Sickness Compensation Base Income, Payment and Repayment, and Legal Support.
GF now needs temporary reinforcement of lawyers to provide legal support to the department's business areas.
Primary Work Tasks
The tasks involve conducting legal-oriented investigations according to the Social Insurance Agency's governing and supporting documents and other legal requirements. This may also include following legal developments and providing advice on applicable law in the area, as well as other related tasks as needed. The work will be done both independently and in collaboration with others.
Who Are You?
To be considered for the role, you need to meet the following criteria:
• Law degree or equivalent education
• At least three (3) years of professional experience as a lawyer
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
To succeed in the assignment, we seek consultants with competence and experience in the following areas:
• General administrative and administrative procedural law
• Data protection and information management
• Public access to information and confidentiality
• Social insurance law (national and EU law)
• Civil law
