Surgery and Urology, Inpatient Care Ward A4 is an acute somatic care department. Here, you will meet and care for patients who require both urgent and planned postoperative care, focusing on upper and lower gastroenterology, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, urology, ENT, and oncology surgical patients. We have 18 beds for patients who come to us acutely and six elective beds on weekdays. With us, you will experience variety in both pace and tasks, and you will have the opportunity to become well-rounded and specialized in acute somatic healthcare. Your Responsibilities Do you want to work clinically as a nursing assistant in Ward A4 while also taking on a leadership role in care? Here, you will have a central role as we collectively lead the development of the department forward. You will be responsible for ensuring an evidence-based approach and actively driving improvement initiatives. You will initiate and maintain good collaboration within the workgroup, where various professional disciplines cooperate, as well as between us and our important partners in other departments at the hospital. You will contribute to the goal of continuously improving quality and ensuring patient safety. You will also serve as a mentor for your colleagues and act as a role model both within and outside the department. Who Are You? You are a trained nursing assistant with at least five years of experience working in an acute somatic care department. You also have experience in development and improvement work. We consider it an advantage if you have experience working in a surgical or urological department. We are looking for someone who is self-driven and enjoys leading development and improvement initiatives. You have good collaborative skills and thrive in interdisciplinary teams where you contribute to a learning and open work environment. Your holistic view allows you to see the entire care chain and work towards continuity, quality, and safety for the patient. With your pedagogical insight, you support your colleagues and serve as a clear role model. Personal suitability is of great importance.
