About this role

We are currently seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our unit for Financial Systems Administration. We are looking for someone who is currently working as a systems administrator and enjoys working in the finance sector. Perhaps this could be the position for you? The Financial Systems Administration Department currently comprises four units with approximately 70 employees. The Financial Systems Administration unit consists of around 20 employees distributed across multiple locations. Main Responsibilities The role of the Systems Administrator involves the management and development of the financial system Unit 4 ERP. Other responsibilities may include: • Defining requirements and contributing to further development of system functionality and efficient use of the system • Actively collaborating internally, for example with other management areas, as well as externally with client authorities and suppliers • Investigating complex cases • Leading efforts to conduct risk analyses • Managing assignments, driving investigations, and participating in projects As we are responsible for second and third-line support, some case management will also be part of the responsibilities. Qualifications We are looking for candidates who have: • A degree in Computer Science or another relevant field—alternatively, equivalent competencies acquired through other means, such as extensive practical experience • At least five years of experience in systems administration within the relevant field or equivalent responsibilities Additionally, you should possess the following skills: • Ability to solve problems by analyzing situations and formulating solutions • Ability to identify development needs and contribute to development work • Ability to structure and prioritize your work effectively • Ability to adapt your working style to changing circumstances • Ability to contribute to a positive collaboration • Good communication skills in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Moreover, it is advantageous if you have knowledge of and experience with: • Experience from government work • Familiarity with relevant agreements and laws • Experience with the financial system Unit 4 ERP • Experience with ADRA Balancer and Matcher • Proficiency in SQL Other Information This is a full-time, permanent position. We typically apply a six-month probationary period. The position is based in Gävle. There is an option to work remotely for up to 49% of the time. This position requires an approved security clearance according to the Security Protection Act. As an employee, you may also be assigned to civil defense duties based on national defense needs.
