We are seeking a Strategic Procurement Specialist for a consulting assignment with our client in Linköping. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a driven team in an international and exciting environment where structure, goal focus, and business acumen are central.
Some remote work may be possible, but initially, you will be primarily on-site, and the client sees long-term value in your ability to be regularly present in Linköping.
About the Position
In this role, you will be a key person in shaping the client's business. You will be responsible for the entire process – from developing procurement strategies and negotiating contracts to following up and developing supplier collaborations. You will work closely with colleagues in production, development, market, and after-sales to ensure that procurement solutions both strengthen the business and meet technical requirements.
Suitable Background
We are seeking someone with several years of experience working strategically in roles such as strategic buyer, procurement specialist, or project manager. You have an academic degree in business or another relevant education. Furthermore, you have several years of experience working in business-driven roles in strategic procurement or project management. You have strong negotiation skills in complex and international environments, and excellent communication abilities in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

As a person, you are confident in your strategic procurement role and accustomed to communicating with various stakeholders within the organization. You are attentive, results-oriented, and curious. You contribute with your experience and expertise and can quickly familiarize yourself with new businesses and processes.
