About this role
Stockholm – our capital city filled with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone living here today and in the future. We are now looking for someone who wants to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.
Welcome to us
Björnbodaskolan and Sörgårdsskolan are great schools for everyone.
We have high expectations for our students, each other, and ourselves. Here, everyone feels involved and grows based on their individual circumstances. We learn from each other through interaction and dialogue. The learning, development, and well-being of our students are our primary focus.
Björnbodaskolan and Sörgårdsskolan together form a school unit, and here both young and old thrive. This position is based at Björnbodaskolan, where our students attend from preschool class to grade three. We also have a special education group at the school.
We have dedicated staff where cooperative learning, formative teaching, and a focus on the student's entire school day are prioritized areas. Our vision is to be a good school for everyone. For us, this means having positive expectations of our students, each other, and ourselves. Our inclusive approach and positive interactions, where everyone should feel involved, permeate our operations. To work towards our vision, we emphasize dialogue, collegial learning, and student health.

You will contribute to knowledge and learning about various disabilities and their significance for learning and have a guiding/consultative role to provide advice and support to the school's teachers and student assistants regarding pedagogical, physical, and social adaptations.
You will contribute to school development by staying updated on current research in the field of education and special education.
