We are looking for an experienced accountant who wants to contribute your expertise in project accounting and VAT. With us, you will play a key role in a knowledgeable team where you will be an essential person in the work involving financial closing, asset accounting, and the development of routines and processes within the accounting field.
**About the Role**
As an accountant in the accounting section, you will be one of the most senior members of the team and will complement the head of accounting, specifically in the areas of project accounting and VAT.
In this role, it is expected that your experience will make you well-acquainted with K3, particularly Chapter 17 on component allocation, and to be a knowledgeable and stable partner for our project department. You are hands-on and responsible for the management and accounting of new and renovation projects, smaller team investments, and provide support on general accounting issues while contributing to the development of the section.
You will contribute to ensuring that our work routines and flows in the areas where you are involved are well documented, communicated, and adjusted as needed. You enjoy working independently and are responsible for completing your tasks on time, with high quality, and according to given regulations. You also share in the collective responsibility of the accounting section for the group's performance and results, so it is natural for you to assist your colleagues when needed.
Your responsibilities in this role include management of the asset and inventory registry and asset accounting, as well as the financial department's responsibilities related to ongoing projects, investments, intangible and tangible assets, depreciation, and disposals, among others.
**Some other examples of tasks and responsibilities in the role include:**
* Super user in the asset management system Insikt Komponent
* Participation in budget and forecasting work
* Property declarations
* VAT reporting, the entire process from analysis to compilation, accounting, and payment
* Monthly and annual financial closing work, including participating in the preparation of annual reports
* Reconciliation of specific balance accounts
* Backup to the head of accounting
* Support to the internal organization regarding coding, rebooking, etc.
* Setup of accounts, operating projects, updates to the chart of accounts, etc.
* Involvement in improvement work
* Other tasks within the accounting section
**Qualifications**
To contribute and be successful in this role, we would like you to have the following experiences and knowledge:
* Preferably, 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role from medium to large companies.
* Experience from real estate companies is a significant advantage but not a requirement.
* You have very good knowledge of asset management systems and project systems, such as Insikt Komponent and Hypergene project module, as well as larger financial systems, preferably Visma Business.
* You have well-developed knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of other Office programs is beneficial.
