We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer for an exciting consultant assignment at our client in Uppsala. You will play a central role in developing software that drives advanced biotechnical instruments within BioPharma and contribute to solutions combining high-technology and machine learning for data-driven analysis. Job Responsibilities
As a consultant in the software team, you will become part of a competent development team with deep experience in both software and biotechnical applications. You will work on developing and maintaining software products from embedded systems to cloud-based platforms.
You will primarily:
• Design, develop, and implement new features in the company's products
• Participate in migration from C# .NET Framework to .NET Core
• Build and maintain Windows-based desktop applications with .NET Core and SQL
• Use Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to development and maintenance of automated GUI tests via an internal test framework
• Ensure stability and quality in test environments
Qualifications
Must-have Requirements:
• 4-7 years of experience as a Software Engineer within .NET
• Documented experience migrating from C# .NET Framework to .NET Core
• Solid competence in C# and .NET technologies
• Experience with Windows desktop applications
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Good collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written
Beneficial:
• Experience developing in medical technology or biotechnology
• Knowledge of test automation or GUI testing
• Experience with cloud-based solutions in Azure
Terms
Start: As soon as possible, considering availability
Length: Until September 30, 2026, with possibility of extension
Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Location: Uppsala, on-site
