At the Secretariat, you will work together with a municipal secretary and another committee secretary - all with great personal responsibility and the opportunity to influence. As a committee secretary with us, you will have a central role in coordinating and quality-assuring the case management process - from start to finish.

Experienced Committee Secretary for the Administrative Department
Job Responsibilities
Do you want to work closely with democracy and contribute to ensuring that municipal decisions are made in a legally secure and efficient manner? We are now seeking an experienced committee secretary for the Office of Coordination and Internal Support. You will become part of our administrative department, responsible for the committee secretariat, municipal archives, registry, sustainability, administrative information security, data protection officer, and investigations.
Your assignment includes:
· Secretarial and committee administration, primarily within two to three committees.
· Quality review of decision-making documentation and providing support to the administration and elected officials.
· Advising and training in case management for administrators and managers.
· Developing efficient work methods and processes.
· Contributing to good and effective service.
As a central role in the municipality, you will work closely with municipal management and our elected officials. Your role is crucial in creating structure and quality in our processes. The work is varied and occurs in different phases - sometimes in close collaboration with colleagues, sometimes independently with significant personal responsibility.
The municipality is in constant development with a broad mandate, which means your role will evolve over time. We are seeking someone who is flexible, solution-oriented, and thrives on adapting to new needs and changes.

Qualifications
We are seeking a development-oriented, analytical candidate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are a skilled organizer who enjoys providing service, is flexible, and takes responsibility for driving your work independently.
As a person, you are stable, self-driven, and unpretentious, with a positive attitude and a professional approach. You have an interest in identifying improvement opportunities and always work with the organization's needs in focus.
You should have:
• Academic degree in administration, public management, law, political science, or similar.
• Experience working as a committee secretary.
• Good knowledge of laws and regulations governing public operations.
• Proficiency in digital environments and excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
Meritorious:
• Experience as an election coordinator or work with political elections and their administration.
• Experience from municipality, region, or other public authority.
