Job Responsibilities: As an Environmental Leader at Veidekke, you will engage in a variety of tasks throughout all phases of projects, from bidding and design to execution, in collaboration with various parts of the organization. You will support projects regarding contaminated land, material management, habitat protection, and water activities. You will manage communication and correspondence within projects with officials regarding permits and contaminated land. You will be physically present on-site for activities such as sampling and environmental protection rounds. Qualifications: We are looking for someone who: - Has a degree in environmental science or geology - Has a theoretical background in the environment and wishes to apply your knowledge practically - Holds a valid driver's license (Category B) Preferred: - At least 3 years of experience working with contaminated land and permit processes - Experience in writing summary memos as a basis for communication with authorities You will be part of our team of experienced environmental leaders, and there are excellent opportunities to grow into the role.
