Responsibilities
As Technical Operations Team Lead, you'll have comprehensive responsibility for Generic's operational environment and lead the team's daily work while working operationally with troubleshooting, configuration, and improvements. You'll function as a link between technology and management, coordinate efforts, and follow up on projects. The role combines strategic responsibility with practical work, including developing the platform, strengthening security, and improving infrastructure efficiency and robustness.
Example responsibilities:
• Act as team lead within the operations team
• Drive planned projects, follow up on deliveries, and report to CTO
• Contribute to modernizing technologies and increasing system robustness
• Strengthen security through proactive and strategic choices
• Help minimize impact during potential operational disruptions
The position is located in Piteå and surrounding area. Generic believes in the power of local collaboration and values office presence, while offering flexibility with partial remote work options. You will report to and closely collaborate with Generic's CTO Fredrik.

Expected Experience:
• Leadership experience in technical operations
• Higher education in IT, technology, or equivalent experience
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with both technicians and decision-makers
• Analytical and structured, with ability to prioritize and drive work forward
• Independent problem solver using documentation, AI, and support channels effectively
• Good understanding of operations, networks, and security
Advantageous Experiences:
• Docker/Kubernetes
• Virtualization (primarily VMware)
• Linux (operations and troubleshooting)
• Networks and firewalls
• DevOps tools (CI/CD, DX)
Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
