We are now seeking an Interim IT Director for an exciting assignment.

- Duration: 4-6 months, potentially longer (during a recruitment process)
Remote work possible by agreement with the client. However, office presence will be required, e.g., 60/40.
About the Position
Our client in the financial sector needs an interim IT Director during an ongoing recruitment process.
The client is in an exciting transformation phase, planning to transition from Cobol and Mainframe to more modern solutions within a 5-year plan.
Primary Responsibilities
During the recruitment process, you will drive daily and ongoing operations. You will be responsible for personnel management of the operational IT department, consisting of 12-13 employees of varying ages and some with relatively long tenure.
The role includes working on individual and group development, conducting employee reviews. You will have workplace environment and budget responsibilities. The group is best led by a leader with energy and drive, while being attentive and able to see individual development potential.
The entire IT department consists of 45-50 employees.
The client operates on a two-shift system, requiring nearly 100% operational capability.
There is a high security level, and this position is security-classified at level 2. This means you will need to undergo and pass a security interview and background check.
The role also requires extensive interaction with external vendors and stakeholders.
Who Are You?
To be considered for the role, you must meet the following criteria:
- You have a relevant academic degree
- You have several years of experience as an IT Director
- You have previous personnel management experience and have led experienced employees
- You have experience with large-scale projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the financial sector
- Previous experience as an IT Operations Manager

- You lead, motivate, and ensure collective goal achievement
- You have experience leading teams of experienced professionals and excel at creating engagement and participation
- You demonstrate good judgment and make accurate assessments and priorities
- You see the big picture and consider broader perspectives
