Your Role
As a unit manager in this role, you'll lead an operational area with two group residences and one service housing. You'll be part of the Individual and Family Care division, which offers various forms of support and service to the district's residents. You'll lead 20-30 employees, primarily support assistants, and have support from our support pedagogues in the pedagogical work.
You'll be responsible for leading, supporting, and developing your operational area together with employees to achieve good results in line with the area's and division's goals. You'll report to the area manager.
The assignment involves:
- Personnel, budget, and operational responsibility
- Active participation and contribution in the management team together with the area manager, eight management colleagues, and a business developer
- Driving systematic work environment and quality work
- Planning, following up, and developing operations based on goals and results
Your Competence and Experience
We are seeking someone who has:
- Relevant university education such as social worker or equivalent alternative professional experience that the employer assesses as corresponding
- Many years of current management experience with personnel, budget, and operational responsibility within the disability area
- Experience in change management with documented good results
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation and other regulations, such as LSS
- High digital competence
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience working in a politically governed organization
