Your Mission
As a procurement buyer with us, you will work in a role with significant responsibility for the entire procurement process. Your focus will be on procurements within construction and civil engineering, where you will drive the entire procurement process according to LOU, from needs analysis and market dialogue, through the entire procurement to contract signing.
You will work closely with project managers, technical specialists, and managers within the municipality's investments. You are an important part of the municipality's efforts to create smart, sustainable, and legally secure business transactions.
In the procurement unit, we are a total of 18 employees, and this role is part of the Construction and Services group, which is one of two groups within the Procurement Unit.

- At least 1 year of experience in public procurement according to LOU
- Post-secondary education in procurement, law, technology, or economics, or equivalent
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of English
Meritorious
- Experience in category management
- Previous work within a municipality or other public sector
- Familiar with working flexibly and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Is this you?
We are looking for someone with good adaptability who can tackle both variation and challenging situations enthusiastically. You plan well both in the short and long term, find alternative solutions when necessary, and maintain focus on the goal. You act proactively rather than reactively in your environment. With a high prioritization ability and business acumen, you focus your energy on what creates the most value. You establish credibility both internally and externally, take a clear stance on important issues, and are always well-prepared. In procurement projects, you lead direction, create engagement, and promote collaboration by building relationships, sharing knowledge, and providing support where needed. By understanding the organization's strategies and needs, you create business transactions with long-term value.
