Do you have experience in construction management and a good understanding of laws and regulatory requirements? Entrecon Consulting is now seeking a Construction Manager for the subway expansion project - FUT.
You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at the client's site.
Assignment
The Construction Manager's role is to support the project in various areas including design, planning, and production. You will have varied work tasks and primarily maintain extensive contact with our organization, external partners, and our contracted entrepreneurs. Example tasks include:
- Participating in rounds, inspections, and assessments
- Preparing documentation for additional, changed, and supplementary work
- Following up and reporting on contract progress regarding costs, timelines, quality, risks, safety, work environment, sustainability, and social responsibility
- Conducting checks and spot checks
- Reviewing contractor's work preparations, execution, self-controls, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements
- Monitoring necessary permits, building permits, and conditions in other agreements
Competencies
Construction Managers must have the following experiences/competencies:
- Minimum high school engineering degree or equivalent
- Documented professional competence/education in the requested technical area
- At least three (3) years of experience as a Construction or Project Manager for similar contracts
- Documented knowledge of contract law and technical regulations
- Ability to pass security screening
- Excellent Swedish and English language skills (verbal and written)
- Bas-U and Bas-P competence
Meriting experiences include:
- Experience working in tunnel environments
- Experience with inspections
- Experience with testing and commissioning
- Experience with traffic authority track facilities
- Production experience
- Experience with steel constructions
