The Swedish Public Employment Service is in the midst of one of Sweden's most extensive digital transformations. Our IT department plays a crucial role in modernizing and developing the agency's support for job seekers, employers, and society at large.
The Transformation Office is a central function that coordinates governance, architecture, and the development of the agency's digital landscape. We work to create unified working methods, a clear direction, and long-term sustainability in our IT and operational solutions.
We are now looking for an Enterprise Architect who wants to help shape the future of the Swedish Public Employment Service, an agency that uses technology, information, and data in a smart and responsible way to create societal benefits.
Job Description
As an Enterprise Architect, you will work at the intersection of business, technology, and strategy. You will have overall responsibility for creating structure and consensus in the agency's target architecture together with portfolio and domain architects.
Your role includes:
- Collaborating with the business and portfolios to shape and communicate target architectures that support the agency's strategic direction.
- Leading architectural dialogues and analyses to identify dependencies, information flows, and areas for improvement in processes and systems.
- Developing information models and process descriptions as a basis for data-driven decisions and effective governance.
- Integrating the architectural perspective into business development, security, and investment planning.
- Contributing to the development of the Transformation Office's working methods and creating unified governance across the entire IT and operational landscape.
You will work closely with other architects, strategists, portfolio managers, and technology experts to ensure that our solutions are sustainable, secure, and scalable over time.

Our Offer
The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The work location is Solna.
The position may be subject to security classification.

Basic Requirements for the Position
- Several years of experience as an Enterprise, Domain, or Area Architect in a larger organization
- Experience in designing target architectures and driving architectural work in close collaboration with business and portfolios
- Ability to translate strategic goals into governance, models, and concrete change initiatives
- Strong communication skills and experience leading dialogues between technology and business
- Proficiency in expressing yourself in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing
Other Qualifications for the Position
- Strong knowledge in information modeling, process development, and business analysis
- Experience in the public sector or other regulated activities
- Knowledge of OSL, NIS2, or similar frameworks
- Experience with cloud strategies, data platforms, and modernization efforts in complex IT environments
