The Analysis Department follows up, analyzes, and evaluates developments in healthcare, dental care, and social services. A cornerstone of the agency's analysis work is gathering information through survey studies, where the agency's survey support group provides methodological support for data collection and analysis. We actively work to reduce respondent burden, which means we also contribute to identifying alternative data sources when available. We now need to strengthen our statistical expertise and are therefore seeking a new colleague for our work group.
We Are Looking for Someone Who Will
• Serve as an internal consultant on survey processing, statistics, and statistical methodology,
• Identify and define survey variables and sampling frame,
• Participate in questionnaire construction from a statistical perspective,
• Process and analyze survey data through SAS programming,
• Be responsible for statistical aspects in planning, execution, and reporting of survey studies,
• Present statistical results in tables and provide written documentation of methods and result quality,
• Contribute to the survey support group's continuous development work.
We Are Seeking Candidates Who Have
• Academic degree in statistics or other education deemed relevant by the National Board of Health and Welfare,
• Strong and current knowledge of SAS programming,
• Experience understanding and using SAS macros,
• Practical experience in planning and conducting survey studies, both comprehensive and sample surveys,
• Good ability to present results in Swedish,
• Knowledge of survey methodology.

Work pace can sometimes be high, making it important to prioritize independently and adapt your work to current conditions. Great importance will be placed on personal qualities during recruitment.
It Is Meritorious If You Have
• Experience working in the public sector, such as state, municipal, or regional,
• Experience with similar job tasks,
• Experience with GDPR and confidentiality issues,
• Experience in regression analysis of survey data.
Good to Know
This is a permanent full-time position with a six-month probationary period. You will be based at the office on Västerbroplan in Stockholm, with the option to work remotely up to 2 days per week. In Spring 2027, the agency will move to renovated premises in Solna strand. Your job title will be Statistician, positioned in the Analysis Department, Survey and Quantitative Analysis Unit (EKA).
