About this role

Do you want to make a difference and help drive the National Board of Health and Welfare's work forward? The Analysis Department follows up, analyzes, and evaluates developments in healthcare, dental care, and social services. A cornerstone of the agency's analytical work is gathering information through survey studies, where the agency's survey support group provides methodological support for data collection and analysis. We actively work to reduce respondents' reporting burden, which means we also help identify alternative data sources when available. We now need to strengthen our capacity for survey construction and are therefore seeking a new colleague for our work group. We are looking for someone who wants to: • Serve as an internal consultant on survey methodology and survey implementation, • Contribute methodological knowledge in data collection by constructing survey questions and conducting survey collection in our survey tool, • Work together with project managers, investigators, experts, and statisticians to ensure high-quality work, • Contribute to the continuous development of the survey support group. We are seeking someone who has: • Academic degree in social sciences, such as behavioral sciences, or other education that the National Board of Health and Welfare finds relevant for the position, • Experience working with question construction in survey studies, • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods, measurement error issues, question formulation, and questionnaire design, especially web surveys, • Experience working in a consultative role and ease of collaboration, • Excellent Swedish language skills. About You The tasks require you to be collaboration-oriented, as the work occurs in close cooperation with colleagues across the entire agency. You should also have a structured work approach and be able to make the right priorities when the work pace can sometimes be high. Furthermore, it is important that you are analytical and can make independent decisions in your work. Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities during recruitment. It is meritorious if you have: • Experience working in the public sector, such as in state, municipal, or regional organizations, • Experience working in a survey company, • Experience with GDPR and confidentiality issues, • Experience working with web-based survey tools. Good to Know This is a full-time, permanent position beginning with a six-month probationary period. You will be based at the office on Västerbroplan in Stockholm, with the option to work remotely up to 2 days per week. In spring 2027, the agency will move to newly renovated premises in Solna strand. Your job title will be Investigator, and you will be placed in the Analysis Department, Survey and Quantitative Analysis Unit (EKA). When applying, you will answer a number of selection questions linked to the job profile. Your answers will be used as part of the selection process and may determine whether you proceed in the recruitment process. It is therefore important that you respond as thoroughly and clearly as possible. We do not use cover letters in the selection, so please attach only your CV.
