Job Responsibilities As a unit manager with us, you are responsible for operations, residents, staff, and finances. Your primary mission is to ensure we operate with high-quality services where our employees provide the best possible support to our residents. Unit manager duties include: • Providing employees with guidance and feedback to develop care work • Communicating values, encouraging dialogue and collaboration • Systematic work environment management • Rehabilitation and adaptation • Implementing new work methods, such as introducing new digital technology • Staff planning, staffing, and recruitment Of course, there are challenging moments in the unit manager role, and you will have support from your unit manager colleagues, working in a team with ongoing dialogue and collaboration on shared issues. You will report to deputy operational managers who will follow up and support you in your assignment. There are also support functions in administration, finance, and HR. Who Are You? We are seeking candidates with a university degree, perhaps in social work, or another higher education providing knowledge in relevant legislation, behavioral science, and leadership. Beyond university education, we view positively any management or leadership training or completed internal trainee program for emerging leaders. Previous management experience is required. Experience in elder care, particularly from care and nursing homes, is viewed favorably. The position requires unrestricted Swedish language skills in both spoken and written communication.
