About this role

Welcome to Boo Health Center - our pleasant healthcare facility located in beautiful Nacka Municipality. Boo Health Center is a large facility with approximately 80 employees and nearly 25,000 registered patients, boasting high patient satisfaction. We are now seeking a unit manager for our home healthcare services as well as a unit manager for the nursing group. The health center operates under the auspices of Region Stockholm and, as part of primary care, offers various forms of medical treatment, rehabilitation, nursing, and preventive healthcare. **Job Responsibilities** Together with the operations manager, you will work on the long-term development of the organization, quality, and environmental work. You will contribute to both the development of the organization and the employees, ensuring that routines and methods promote high quality and patient safety. As a unit manager, you will have delegated responsibility for personnel, work environment, and sustainability, and you will be part of the health center's management team. Support functions available to you include managerial support, HR, finance, and patient safety coordination, providing close and personal support to you as a manager. The positions involve at least half-time clinical work in your professional capacity. **Employment Type** Permanent position, full-time 40 hours/week. The management role has a fixed-term appointment with a management contract, and you will report directly to the operations manager. A probationary period may be applied. Start date to be agreed upon. **Qualifications** You are a specialist physician in general medicine or an experienced nurse. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County healthcare area: - A background check will be conducted prior to hiring according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language at the C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
