The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) is seeking unit managers to participate in building the center's operations at FRA. Your Mission
As a unit manager, you will belong to the NCSC department at FRA. The department is newly established and is currently under development. The unit has recently been established and has significant development and expansion goals, providing you with substantial opportunities to grow and influence in the role.
As a unit manager at NCSC, you will lead the unit and collaborate within the field of cyber security. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing employees with the right conditions through access to the right tools and information
- Having overall responsibility for personnel, work environment, and budget
- Developing and motivating your employees and being responsible for competence supply and development
- Recruiting staff
- Coordinating operational development within the unit both individually and in collaboration with other managers
You Can
We are looking for someone who has:
- An academic degree in, for example, political science, computer engineering, or another relevant field and/or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience.
- Extensive experience in a managerial position
- Good knowledge of the Office Suite
- Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Training in Leadership and Cyber Security
- Experience in the field of cyber security in a leadership role
- Technical knowledge in cyber security
- A valid driver's license (B)

About NCSC and FRA
The mission of NCSC is to develop and strengthen Sweden's ability to prevent, detect, and manage cyber threats. Currently, NCSC is in an expansive development phase where you will have the opportunity to help build a central point of contact for Sweden's cyber security. Since 2024, NCSC has been part of FRA.

More Information
The workplace is currently located in Tomteboda, Solna. In a few years, new premises will be ready in Bergshamra. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A prerequisite for employment is a successful security clearance with a background check. The security clearance will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a military position.
