About this role
Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) makes 21 million decisions that impact people's lives and the entire society. We distribute approximately 260 billion kronor annually. These are everyone's tax funds that we manage. It is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify, improve, develop, and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. Welcome to one of Sweden's largest IT departments.
The ITI business area is primarily responsible for coordinated, quality-assured, and efficient management of information, data, and AI within Försäkringskassan, as well as actively contributing to these areas across the public sector. We ensure we have products and services to enable a data-driven operation and create collaborations with external stakeholders and partners in the AI field. The work spans from data platforms and data sharing to data quality, metadata, and information management, focusing on creating conditions for our daily operations as well as analysis and AI applications. Employees are both system developers and business developers, primarily located in Luleå but also present in other locations across the country.
Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet change needs.
