State Institutions Board (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for youth with complex psychosocial issues and adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and facilities for adults with substance abuse across the country. At SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. SiS Youth Home Råby receives both girls and boys. We have both closed and open placements for closed youth care and treatment placements for youth under LVU.
Job Description
As a Unit Manager, you report directly to the institution's director and are part of the management team and management readiness. You lead and develop one of our departments - both strategically and operationally - with responsibility for personnel, work environment, budget, and care and operational development.
As a Unit Manager, you are employed by the SiS agency and currently placed at SiS Youth Home Råby.

We are seeking candidates who have:
• Academic degree of at least 180 credits in social work, treatment, psychology, or other education/experience deemed suitable by the employer.
• Experience working in an institutional or similar setting.
• Documented management experience within compulsory care or other relevant public administration.
• Good communication skills to express oneself well verbally and in writing in Swedish.
Special importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Employment
This is a permanent full-time position starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
