The Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic (ÖHN) is part of the Department of Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and ENT at Helsingborg Hospital. ÖHN includes outpatient units with scheduled operations in Helsingborg and Ängelholm, as well as emergency services in Helsingborg. Surgical services are available at both locations. The clinic offers elective services with general consultations and specialized clinics for hearing, voice, allergies, balance disorders, sleep apnea, and patients with tumor diseases. Our team consists of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, administrators, and audiologists.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a unit manager, you will be responsible for operations, finances, and personnel. In your managerial role, you will lead our administrative staff, which consists of medical secretaries and administrators. You will be the direct supervisor for over 25 individuals.
Administrative work is a significant part of the clinic's operations, and your team members work largely independently. As a manager, part of your role will be to develop both individuals and the organization as a whole. You will work closely with the operations and contribute to development through a present and coaching leadership style.
You will collaborate closely with the unit manager for nursing staff at the clinic, as well as the medical chief and the unit manager for the speech therapy clinic. Together, you will form the management team for ÖHN. Additionally, you will be part of the management team for the Department of Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and ENT as one of ten managers, reporting to the department's operations manager. Collaboration and knowledge exchange with other unit managers is an important aspect of your work and provides you with significant opportunities to influence and contribute to the development of the organization.
With us, you will work in a proactive outpatient service with a strong drive for change. You will have considerable independence in your management role and will work on development and leadership with both employees and the organization.
We plan to conduct interviews on the morning of December 12 and throughout December 16.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome applicants with post-secondary education in a relevant field for this position. Previous managerial and leadership experience is a prerequisite for the role. It is advantageous if you have completed leadership training and have experience with Melior and Pasis. Additionally, it is meritorious if you are educated in health and medical administration (80 credits KY) or (400 credits YH) or have equivalent training as a medical secretary/doctor's secretary.
As a person, you are independent, responsible, and communicative, with a genuine interest in leading and developing both employees and the organization. You are confident in your leadership, possess good collaboration skills, and have a high degree of flexibility to adapt to the requirements of the assignment and the organization. Furthermore, you are proactive, solution-oriented, and have a positive outlook on improvement efforts. To succeed in this role, you need to have a holistic perspective, be able to prioritize, delegate, and make decisions, as well as create collaboration and good relationships both internally and externally.
