About the Position We are now seeking a Unit Manager for the team that from January 1st will consist of maintenance and reconditioning operations at the Medical Aid Center in Borås. This fall, we are laying the groundwork for comprehensive change management work regarding our flows at the Medical Aid Center. The role of Unit Manager for maintenance and reconditioning will be strongly characterized by this. You will be part of the local management team together with 3 other managers and represent the management team in relation to all employees at the Medical Aid Center in Borås. Regionally, you will also collaborate with other unit managers and process leaders within the maintenance process. Your Primary Work Areas: - Change management and implementation of flow review - Production planning and efficiency - Responsible for team results and goal tracking - Personnel and work environment responsibility - Work on team mission development - Responsible for team economics and budget work - Responsible for skills supply and competence development within the team Your personnel responsibility covers approximately 25 employees in two different operations with different needs and conditions. In the reconditioning operation, we handle used medical aids, clean and restore them for reuse. In the maintenance operation, we work on preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of medical aids in patients' homes and residential facilities. We also provide technical phone support. You report to the department head and are part of the local management team where you contribute and are active in strategic work to achieve our goals and meet customer expectations. Your manager, colleagues, HR, and financial resources will support you in this work. Your location will be at the Medical Aid Center in Viared, just outside Borås. About Us At the Medical Aid Center, we have over 300 employees who procure, fit, maintain, store, and reuse aids for mobility limitations, cognitive support, communication, and medical treatment. We are located in four locations in the region, with common job roles including medical aid and product consultants, technicians, and customer service staff. About You You have previous management experience in workshops, maintenance, production, or similar operations. You are experienced in handling personnel, economics, and business development. By having practical technical work experience, you understand what is required of the team and your employees. You have a university degree, preferably with a technical orientation or equivalent as assessed by the employer. To succeed and enjoy the role, you need to be a confident leader who stands firmly in your leadership and employer role. You have the ability to create trusting relationships and participation among your employees. With drive and curiosity, you work goal-oriented and dare to try new ways to develop the operation.
