County Adult Psychiatry has a county-wide mandate within adult psychiatry, responsible for psychiatric emergency care, inpatient care, and addiction treatment. The clinic operates in Falun and Säter. At Ward 90, patients with serious psychiatric conditions are often treated under the Psychiatric Care Act (LPT). The ward has high security and more intensive staffing than other psychiatric wards. Doctors, nurses, and care assistants work in teams with patients, supported by the treatment team's psychologist, social worker, and occupational therapist. Medical secretaries and care developers support the unit. We care for patients with various psychiatric conditions under different care forms.
Unit Manager for Inpatient Psychiatry Ward 90 in Säter
Job Responsibilities
As a unit manager in inpatient psychiatry, you need good knowledge of psychiatry, addiction, comorbidity, and relevant legislation. You are responsible for approximately 25 employees, as well as work environment, patient safety, budget, and organizational development. You will receive support from HR, an economist, organizational developer, management team, and union representatives. You will be part of the clinic's management team and work with the operations manager and other managers to develop patient safety, work environment, further education, collaboration, and operations. The ward's care coordinator and department coordinator will help you manage and lead the department.
The position involves employment in your base profession and a three-year management appointment with the possibility of extension. Together with the operations manager, you will plan to participate in the region's leadership and management program. We offer you a developing, challenging, and exciting job!

Requirements:
• Academic education qualifying for employment in one of the clinic's base professions
• Previous experience as a manager, leader, coordinator, or similar with responsibility for patient, staff, budget, or operations
• Good knowledge of psychiatry, addiction, comorbidity, and legislation governing care
• Driving license B
Preferred:
• Management and leadership training
• Good knowledge of work environment
• Previous clinical work in psychiatry or addiction care
