Welcome to us You’re in luck! We are four unit managers at Sätra Care and Support Facility looking for a new colleague. Our services include assessments for interventions such as home care, care and support facilities, LSS housing, personal support, and social psychiatry. At Sätra Care and Support Facility, we primarily provide care to individuals with dementia, but also those with Huntington's disease, cognitive impairments, and psychiatric issues. Your role As a unit manager, you will have operational, financial, and personnel responsibility for approximately 35 employees within a section of the Sätra Care and Support Facility. You are responsible for ensuring that the operations meet the requirements of the Social Services Act (SoL), the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), and the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations regarding management systems for systematic quality work (SOSFS 2011: 9). You will work closely with employees, care recipients, and their relatives, which requires a deep understanding of the target group and the challenges of the operations. You will promote a good working environment and create opportunities for employees to take responsibility, have influence, and feel involved. Through a curious and learning-oriented leadership style, you will enhance the quality and development of the operations. You will be part of the management team and report to the area manager. Together with your managerial colleagues, you have an important mission to develop Sätra Care and Support Facility – a Silviahem-certified facility since 2013. Your qualifications and experience We are looking for a curious and present leader who enjoys combining strategic responsibility with operational presence in daily activities. We place great importance on your personal qualities and want you to recognize yourself in the City of Stockholm's leadership profile – a forward-thinking, clear, and collaborative leader who both inspires and follows up. You are development-oriented and work in a goal- and results-oriented manner with a good overall perspective. We are looking for someone who has: - relevant academic education such as a nurse, social scientist, or other education that the employer deems equivalent - current managerial experience in elderly care and social psychiatry, preferably from care and support facilities - knowledge of relevant legislation (SoL and HSL) - good knowledge of dementia - high digital competence - strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written It is an advantage if you have: - experience leading systematic quality work and development projects - completed or ongoing leadership training - experience in driving development work related to digitalization and welfare technology - experience working in a politically governed organization.
