Unit Manager for Riddarnäset

Unit Manager / Head of Unit for Riddarnäset Youth Care Home Värmland County Care Association is seeking an experienced Unit Manager for Riddarnäset, an integrated youth care home located in Nykroppa, Filipstad municipality. About the Position: Riddarnäset is a residential care home for youth aged 13-20, with capacity for up to 10 adolescents with risk/substance abuse, neuropsychiatric/psychiatric challenges, and complex behavioral issues. The facility is jointly managed by Värmland County Care Association and Region Värmland. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and develop the unit's operations - Manage personnel from both organizational entities - Oversee budget, quality, and work environment - Coordinate with social services, schools, and other authorities - Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations - Manage youth admission and discharge processes - Participate in leadership meetings and organizational development Qualifications: Required: - University degree in social work/behavioral sciences - Excellent Swedish language skills - Knowledge of working with the target group - Valid driver's license Preferred: - Experience in residential youth care - Budget management experience - Knowledge of risk and substance abuse interventions - Understanding of relevant legislation (SoL, HSL, LVU) Position Details: - Full-time, permanent position - Monday-Friday working hours - Police background check required We offer an engaging work environment with professional development opportunities, supervision, leadership training, and wellness benefits.
